The only number it publishes under this row's own type — "Type 'S' Inlet" — is D-4.24, which I-214 on this sheet cites for the same type. A contractor builds to the drawing the schedule points at, so a detail number naming a different structure is worth confirming before submittal.

MH-221: outgoing invert is 0.35' above the incoming

The schedule gives MH-221 an outgoing invert of 480.90 and an incoming invert of 480.55. Water would have to run uphill through the structure. This is usually two elevations swapped between the IN and OUT columns, or a transposed digit.

ES-224 appears in more than one schedule with a different outgoing invert: 477.40 in one place and 477.70 in another. One of them was revised and the other was not — the reviewer will find whichever disagrees with the profile.

I-118 is shown receiving a pipe at 498.15, but the highest rim stated anywhere in this schedule is 496.35 (I-214). Either the inflow is a transposition, or the structure feeding it is not in this schedule — check the sheet's remarks for a connection to a separate system.

C-300 title differs between index and title block

The index calls C-300 "SITE LAYOUT PLAN" but the title block reads "SITE LAYOUT AND PAVING PLAN". A reviewer cross-referencing the index will flag this. Round 1 of adjudication (2026-09-10): a practising civil engineer judged 15 findings of this rule on 6 real Howard County plan sets. 10 were real differences a reviewer could raise: typos, abbreviations, a changed word, a title missing half its words. The other 5 were not. 3 compared the index against a street or utility label, because the sheet prints its title smaller than the labels around it or only in a hidden text layer, and 2 differed by nothing more than a filler word or two abbreviations of one term. This rule now looks for the index title in the title block before reporting, and treats E&S and ESC as one word; a sheet printing a PLAN the index leaves out is agreement, while an index claiming a word the sheet does not print is still reported. When the title-block text quoted here shares no word with the index title, open the sheet: on the real sets measured, that quote was a label we read, not the sheet title.

Sheet C-304 in this set measure 22" x 34". Howard County, Maryland requires plan sheets to be 24" x 36" — Howard County DPZ — SDP Signature Blocks, Standard Charts, etc. (2023-02), "STANDARD SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN SHEET" figure (p. 5): “ALL SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN SHEETS MUST BE 24" X 36" IN SIZE”. A sheet on the wrong stock is caught at intake rather than at review, so it costs a resubmission cycle for a defect that is a re-plot to fix. Two causes account for every instance found in this county's own archive: a package prepared by a sub-consultant — a retaining wall or a lighting design — bound into the set on that consultant's own sheet size, and a plot configuration that was never set to the county's sheet.

This sheet states its scale as 1"=60'. Howard County, Maryland requires plan sheets to be drawn at 1"=10' to 1"=50' — Howard County DED Checklist — Site Development Plan, Commercial (Rev Aug 2025), section II.D.1: “Plan Scale 1” = 10’ to 1” = 50’”. A scale outside the published range is one of the cheapest things for a reviewer to return a set over, and one of the most expensive to fix afterwards, because re-plotting the sheet moves every label and callout on it. If the range was waived for this project, say so on the sheet.
